Shakes and smoothies are staples in most vegan and vegetarian diets. Actually, they are pretty common across most healthy diets; and if you search the internet you’ll find thousands of recipes.
I have a tip to enhance the flavor of most any fruit based smoothie: add a few drops of vanilla extract!
This usually works best with fruit a smoothie base that have a creamy texture. I use it most often with smoothies that have bananas and/or non-dairy milk in the recipe.
Start with 1/4 teaspoon and add more to taste. Enjoy!
